Stowarzyszenie Amerykańskich Pisarzy Fantasy i Science Fiction ogłosiło finalistów nagrody Nebula za 2019 rok. Szanse na dwie statuetki ma Sarah Pinsker – za powieść „Song for a New Day” oraz opowiadanie „The Blur in the Corner of Your Eye”.
Nebula to po Hugo druga najważniejsza na świecie nagroda z dziedziny literatury fantastycznej. Została utworzona w 1966 roku, a jej pomysłodawcą był pisarz Lloyd Biggle Jr. Głosują wszyscy członkowie Stowarzyszenia, których jest obecnie ponad 1800. Nebula jest przyznawana w czterech kategoriach: powieść, opowiadanie, nowela oraz krótka forma. Laureatów poznamy 30 maja 2020 roku podczas SFWA Nebula Conference w Los Angeles.
Na oficjalnej gali są wręczane również inne wyróznienia: Nagroda im. Raya Bradbury’ego za Wyjątkową Prezentację Dramatyczną za scenariusz produkcji filmowej lub telewizyjnej, Nagroda Andre Norton dla młodych twórców fantastyki oraz przyznawana od 2018 roku nagroda za scenariusz gry video.
